When parents separate, it can be very stressful for children. Especially at a time when they themselves are facing exceptional circumstances, children are reliant on their parents’ close supervision and support. The “Focus on children” course uses practical exercises, interactive role-play and experience-sharing to teach parents to be more aware of stress and emotional strain. The skills learned will help parents to protect their children and provide them with needs-based support during their separation. A stable relationship with both parents ultimately encourages and promotes a child’s education and development.
